Plan Features

  • Provides non-occupational coverage
  • Weekly benefit payments sent directly to employee
  • Employers may choose from three benefit periods: 13, 26 or 52 weeks, or customize it to coordinate with a Long Term Disability plan
  • Employers may select from four elimination periods:
    • 0 day accident/7 day sickness
    • 7 day accident/7 day sickness
    • 14 day accident/14 day sickness
    • 30 day accident/30 day sickness
  • Benefit will cover up to 70 percent of income with a minimum weekly benefit of at least $25
  • Convenient payroll deduction of premium payments
