Plan Features
- Provides non-occupational coverage
- Weekly benefit payments sent directly to employee
- Employers may choose from three benefit periods: 13, 26 or
52 weeks, or customize it to coordinate with a Long Term Disability
plan
- Employers may select from four elimination periods:
- 0 day accident/7 day sickness
- 7 day accident/7 day sickness
- 14 day accident/14 day sickness
- 30 day accident/30 day sickness
- Benefit will cover up to 70 percent of income with a minimum
weekly benefit of at least $25
- Convenient payroll deduction of premium payments
